HISENSE TORNADO TV Review:-Hi, friends welcome back to my blog. Friends, Hisense Tornado has been released. Many people have asked me why I didn’t review it, till now, when most YouTubers have reviewed HISENSE TORNADO TV. Friends, previously too, I have told you that I do not accept review units from companies that pose pre-condition of a positive review, which need to be submitted to them for approval.

On this website along with the Pros, Cons are also highlighted. I only work for the benefit of my viewers. Every product has its strength as well as weaknesses, which I point to my viewers as none of the products is perfect.

Toshiba & Hisense both TVs are manufactured by the same Chinese company. But this is also true that none of the foreign companies bring high-quality products in India, which they release abroad. Last time, the company had sent me Toshiba TV for review, but I told you about its cons & also released the video without their approval, which did not go down well with the company & it got pretty annoying.

Friends, I make technical videos for your knowledge & help, rather than to form a beneficial bond with companies. YouTube is not my profession, which I should treat like a business, it is my passion. Sharing my knowledge & expertise with you all makes me happy.

I don’t aim at earning, rather derive satisfaction even if I can give the right guidance to only a few thousand. You must have watched umpteen videos, where only good is spoken about products. This is because companies send review units for publicity on YouTube, they cannot endure any undesirable fact to come to the fore that can bring negative publicity to their product.

To buy every product for review is beyond my capacity. If you want me to purchase more products for honest reviews, you need to empower me by purchasing products through my links, so that I can buy more products for reviews and apprise you of their shortcomings too.

I have repeatedly told in my videos that right now, in the budget category, Vu, Nokia, Toshiba, Motorola & Hisense TVs display the best picture quality. I have even carried out a real picture quality side-by-side comparison of these TVs. Many want to know my opinion on this newly launched 55-inch Hisense Tornado 4k TV, so today I bring to you the real review of this TV. I have checked the performance of Hisense Tornado pretty closely and this in-depth review of mine is based on the same.

You must have heard its Pros from several bloggers, YouTubers, now is the time to hear about its cons. The assembled nature of this TV is really fair, with the super-thin bezel. At the last, a soundbar with a Black texture finish has been melded in.

The back gets a plastic get done with a flat and vertical plan on it. The TV has 3 HDMI and 2 USB ports alongside double band Wi-Fi. Alongside HDMI ARC, it additionally has HDMI CEC. It has a DLED backdrop illumination and VA board.

It accompanies HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG uphold. Leaving aside the sound, any remaining determinations are like their past models. The picture quality of this TV is good, but no improvement in picture quality from the previous models can be seen. The company stakes claim to more than 400 Nits brightness, but in reality, the brightness lies somewhere near 360 Nits only. Though in normal usage the TV appears bright, the performance of HDR 10 & Dolby Vision fails to impress.

However, considering it to be a budget category TV, the performance can be said to be acceptable. Here, I would like to tell you that for an effective HDR10 & Dolby Vision performance, a brightness level of at least 1000 Nits is required. The Blacks on this TV are good, but, many times, they tend to hide details in the scene.

The shading propagation of this TV isn’t awesome. As a wide shading extent disappears on this TV, it misses the mark regarding making various shades of any tone. Along these lines, shading precision in this TV isn’t excessively acceptable. On this TV as well, the Dirty Screen impact is quite obvious. Ultra-diminishing in spending TVs is all the more an advertising gimmickry as it neglects to assume any huge part in improving the image quality, in contrast to Local Dimming.

Movement obscure doesn’t bother while watching typical substance, however, during quick activity scenes, the 60 Hz invigorate rate neglects to block it. MEMC, if by any stretch of the imagination, present in this TV, neglects to stop the movement obscure accordingly uncovering the empty case of the organization.

On a dark foundation, the backdrop illumination peeping from sides turns out to be significantly more noticeable, which aggravates a couple of times. Coming to Chromecast! The non-similarity of this TV with certain telephones is quite irritating, nonetheless, when associated with a telephone, the projecting is smooth.

The upscaling capability of this Hisense TV is above average. 720p & 1080p videos do get up-scaled, but not anywhere close to a 4k resolution. Here, it would not be out of place to apprise you of the fact that none of the TVs upscale contents through a set-top box. When you connect a TV to any set-top box, to a large extent, the picture quality depends on the quality of transmission provided by that set-top box operator.

For example, the TataSky HD box gives better performance than Dish TV, cable Network, or Airtel. If the transmission quality is bad even the best TV will not be able to give a good performance. If the transmission by the service provider is good, you will get the best performance on a TV having an inherent good picture quality.

Sony X9500H TV does work towards removing judder from even any external source playing 24p contents, but even that does not upscale the contents through a set-top box. Upscaling works only through the internal hardware of a TV when you watch contents through USB or while playing OTT contents through the Internet.

In the budget category, I have found some Vu TVs to have a really good picture of upscaling capability. Now, coming to the USP of this TV! The 102W JBL speaker system gives some really good performance. There is a crispness in dialogue delivery and the audio is sufficiently loud too. However, if you think the 102W audio of this TV can replace a 100 Watts external soundbar, then you are pretty mistaken.

With deeper bass & more audio details, a 100W separate soundbar gives you far better audio quality than this integrated TV soundbar. Though the audio of this TV is very good, Dolby Atmos fails to create any noticeable impact. Many amongst you are unaware of the difference between Dolby Atmos & Dolby Digital. For them, I have left a link to a video in the description that will clear all your doubts.

However, the company certainly deserves appreciation for giving a 102W soundbar on any TV for the first time. Hisense Tornado, alike its previous models, is an Android TV, which comes with 2GB RAM & 16GB internal storage. Apart from side-loading outside apps, you get the liberty to play almost all applications on this TV.

The UI is pretty smooth & all apps play wonderfully. Overall, Hisense Tornado is a fairly good TV with good picture quality & pretty good audio, but it cannot be termed as the best as many better TVs like Vu, Nokia, Motorola & Toshiba are already there in the market. Toshiba, which is also from the same company, surpasses Hisense TV in picture quality and still, it comes at a cheaper price.

In my opinion, the company should have also worked on the picture quality of this TV rather than creating ripples just by augmenting the audio. After all, TV is all about the picture quality which is inherent & cannot be augmented later on. Sound can always be augmented later on, at any stage through a soundbar or home theatre system. Now coming to the aftersales services, right now, the services of Hisense are not satisfactory. Lots of complaints keep pouring in.

If there is any fault in your TV, then you might face difficulty in getting it repaired. Apart from this, the Indo-China Standoff might create further problems in the days to come. If the relations get soured further, these Chinese companies might depart from India, leaving your product unserviceable.

Though almost all electronic products are Chinese only, to be on the safer side, it would be better if you go with a TV that is marketed by an Indian company or one which is from some other country, so that later on, you do not face any problem in its aftersales services.

So this was my in-depth review of Hisense Tornado TV. Meet you in my next post, till then take care & stay safe.
